Behind the name
Though the name CDN Softwoods may be fairly new, the knowledge behind the brand is not. Owner Courtney Fuller brings 20 plus years of experience in the agriculture and animal bedding industry to the table. With her husband and two children she splits her time running the company and managing their commercial and registered Black Angus cow herds. She can often be found horseback checking the cows, never far from her phone should a customer call in need of shavings.

Born in Canada, educated in Texas. Courtney utilizes her Canadian roots to bring the very best pine shavings across the border. As a wife and mother in the Texas Panhandle, her goal is to be a conscious producer in the agricultural industry that her family can be proud of. That is why she strives for excellence when serving her customers all over the United States.

Who it all began with. Tricia started Douglas & Associates Ltd. over 20 years ago. Many current customers of CDN Softwoods started with Tricia years ago. As the mother of Courtney, this duo has been satisfying customers together since 2009 and as partners since 2017. CDN Softwoods began as a way for Tricia to begin to enjoy semi-retirement and her grand-babies. Something I’m sure each of us hopes to to do one day.
Tricia still handles all Canadian sales and maintains a client base in the United States also. Feel free to contact her, she brings a wealth of knowledge to this industry.
